If you’ve been looking for an excuse to improve your health, this month was made for you. March is National Nutrition Month, and we should all commit to making a change in diet, even if it’s a small one. Woman’s Day suggests a few foods that both men & women could benefit from incorporating into our diet anywhere from 4 to 6 times a week.

You can start with making your breakfast a little healthier. Oatmeal is a great source of fiber, and it can help reduce the amount of cholesterol absorbed in your intestines each day.
Eat beans? They’ve got a great deal of soluble fiber, like oatmeal, that helps lower cholesterol as well as decrease blood sugar levels.
If you find yourself with a major sweet tooth, try eating more dark chocolate. With chocolate, there’s always one rule to follow: the darker the chocolate, the better. The candy is full of flavonoids and other antioxidants that can help reduce cholesterol levels.
These are just a few suggestions to get you started on the road to better health. What nutrition advice do you have for me?
